Pre-Care Instructions

To ensure you achieve the best possible results from your Skin Booster treatment, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment to minimize the risk of bruising and swelling.
  • Stop using blood-thinning medications or supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or Ginkgo Biloba) for 3–5 days before treatment, unless prescribed by your doctor.
  • Avoid active skincare products such as retinols, acids (AHA/BHA), and exfoliants for 2–3 days prior to your appointment.
  • Do not schedule dental work, peels, or laser treatments within 2 weeks of your Skin Booster session.
  • Stay hydrated — drinking plenty of water helps prepare your skin for optimal results.
  • Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, creams, or SPF on the treatment area.
  • If you have any skin irritation, infection, or cold sores, please reschedule until your skin is fully healed.

After-Care Instructions

Skin Boosters work beneath the surface to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate your skin. To support healing and results, please follow these after-care steps:

  • Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area for 6 hours post-treatment.
  • Do not apply makeup, SPF, or active skincare products for 24 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas, and heat exposure for 24–48 hours after treatment.
  • Do not massage or rub the treated area unless instructed by your practitioner.
  • Mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at injection sites are normal and should settle within 1–3 days.
  • Avoid facials, peels, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks after treatment.
  • Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using a gentle, nourishing moisturizer.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and wear a high SPF daily to protect your skin and results.
  • Results develop gradually over 2–4 weeks as hydration and collagen production increase.
  • For best outcomes, a course of 2–3 treatments spaced a few weeks apart is recommended, followed by maintenance sessions every few months.
