Pre-Care Instructions

To ensure optimal results and a smooth experience, please follow these steps before your Polynucleotide appointment:

• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to treatment — this helps minimize bruising and swelling.
• Stop taking blood-thinning medications or supplements (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or Ginkgo Biloba) for 3–5 days before your appointment, unless prescribed by your doctor.
• Avoid active skincare products (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliants) for 2–3 days prior to treatment.
• Do not schedule dental or facial procedures within 2 weeks of your Polynucleotide treatment.
• Stay hydrated — drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment for best results.
• Arrive with clean skin, free from makeup, lotions, or SPF.
• If you have any skin infections, rashes, or cold sores, please reschedule until your skin has fully healed.

After-Care Instructions

Polynucleotides work by stimulating skin regeneration, so good after-care helps maximize your results:

• Do not touch or apply pressure to the treated area for at least 6 hours post-treatment.
• Avoid makeup, skincare products, and active ingredients (retinol, acids, vitamin C) for 24 hours after your appointment.
• Do not expose the treated area to heat — avoid saunas, sunbeds, hot showers, or exercise for 24–48 hours.
• Avoid alcohol and intense physical activity for 24 hours.
• Mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at injection sites are normal and usually resolve within 1–3 days.
• Do not have facials, peels, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks after treatment.
• Keep your skin hydrated — use a gentle, non-active moisturizer and drink plenty of water.
• Avoid direct sun exposure and always wear broad-spectrum SPF daily to protect your results.
• Results will gradually improve over several weeks as collagen and elastin production increase.
• A course of treatments (usually 2–4 sessions spaced a few weeks apart) is recommended for best, long-lasting results.
