Pre-Care Instructions

Following these guidelines before your appointment helps ensure safe and effective results:

  1. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment — it can increase bruising and swelling.

  2. Refrain from using blood-thinning medications or supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or Ginkgo Biloba) for 3–5 days before treatment, unless prescribed by your doctor.

  3. Avoid intense exercise on the day of your treatment.

  4. Do not schedule dental or facial treatments (facials, peels, laser, etc.) within 2 weeks of your appointment.

  5. Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, moisturizer, or SPF on the treatment area.

  6. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any neurological conditions, please inform your practitioner, as treatment may not be suitable.

  7. Stay well-hydrated — hydrated skin responds better to treatment.

After-Care Instructions

Proper after-care helps your results develop evenly and reduces the risk of complications:

  1. Remain upright for at least 4 hours after treatment — do not lie down or bend excessively.

  2. Avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying pressure to treated areas for 24 hours.

  3. Do not apply makeup or skincare products over treated areas for at least 6–12 hours.

  4. Avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, and excessive heat (hot showers, saunas, sunbeds) for 24–48 hours.

  5. Do not have facials, massages, or other aesthetic treatments for 2 weeks after your injections.

  6. Avoid wearing tight headwear or hats that press on the treated areas (especially around the forehead).

  7. You may gently move the treated muscles (frown, smile, raise brows) to help the product distribute evenly — but do not touch your face.

  8. Results typically begin to appear within 3–7 days and fully develop by 2 weeks.

  9. A review or top-up appointment may be offered around 2–3 weeks post-treatment.
