Pre-Care Instructions

To achieve the best possible results and minimize side effects, please follow these steps before your appointment:

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your treatment to reduce the risk of bruising and swelling.
  • Do not take blood-thinning medications or supplements (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or Ginkgo Biloba) for 3–5 days, unless prescribed by your doctor.
  • Avoid active skincare products — including retinol, exfoliants, AHAs, and BHAs — for 2–3 days before treatment.
  • Do not schedule dental work or facial treatments (e.g. peels, laser, microneedling) within 2 weeks of your appointment.
  • Stay hydrated — drinking plenty of water improves your skin’s response and results.
  • Arrive with clean skin — no makeup, creams, or SPF on the treatment area.
  • If you have any skin irritation, infection, or cold sores, please reschedule until your skin has fully healed.

After-Care Instructions

Both Skin Boosters and Polynucleotides work beneath the surface to rejuvenate, hydrate, and stimulate collagen production. Following proper after-care is key to glowing, long-lasting results:

  • Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area for 6 hours after your appointment.
  • Do not apply makeup, SPF, or active skincare products for 24 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas, and heat exposure for 24–48 hours post-treatment.
  • Do not massage or rub the treated area unless instructed by your practitioner.
  • Mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at injection sites are normal and typically settle within 1–3 days.
  • Keep the area clean and hydrated using gentle, non-active moisturizers.
  • Avoid facials, peels, laser treatments, or microneedling for at least 2 weeks.
  • Stay out of direct sunlight and wear a broad-spectrum SPF daily to protect your results.
  • Results improve gradually as collagen and elastin production increases — expect to see full benefits over 2–4 weeks.
  • A course of 2–4 sessions, spaced 2–4 weeks apart, is recommended for best and longest-lasting results.
